Students continue to live on Grounds in singles, doubles, suites, and apartments in the 2020-21 academic year. Visit the Housing and Residence Life website for detailed information about measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in on-Grounds housing and requirements that apply to residents.

Tents with heaters and electricity have been installed around Grounds to provide outdoor spaces for individuals and multiple small groups to study, eat or relax. Physical distancing and masking must be observed, and outdoor gatherings are limited to 25 people. Locations include:
- O’Hill Dining lawn
- Runk Dining patio
- McCormick Quad (2 tents)
- Hume Plaza, near Newcomb Hall
- Peabody Hall lawn
- South end of the Lawn, near the Homer statue
- Dawson’s Row, near the Office of African American Affairs
- Grassy area across from the Corner
